Announcing ‘9 Lives IPA’ Collab with Lone Eagle Brewing

A juicy, hazy IPA (ABV 7%) brewed with 4 powerhouse hops create a full hop experience behind this silky strong ale.

Flemington DIY has teamed up with Lone Eagle Brewing for a second time to offer a special brew celebrating the community art space’s 9 year anniversary. The “9 Lives India Pale Ale” is now available for a limited time on tap exclusively in their tasting room, as well as 4-pack cans to go.

“We are both excited and delighted to once again work with our neighbors on Stangl Rd to produce a wonderfully hazy, juicy IPA heavy on the citrus, stone fruit, and tropical fruit flavors,” said Bob King from Lone Eagle Brewing. “We are happy to support this thriving, non-profit organization that helps so many artists in our community.”

Lone Eagle Brewing has generously offered to donate a portion of the beer’s proceeds to Flemington DIY.

For this beer release, Flemington DIY chose an artist to design the label. The 9 Lives India Pale Ale’s label was designed by a New Jersey-native illustrator and graphic artist Eric Escobar.

As part of its 9 year anniversary, Flemington DIY is hosting an all-day celebration Saturday, May 20, which includes a 15-mile group bike ride (and a 2-mile family ride); a free Rhythm Kids class from Music Together; a compost bench dedication ceremony with Mad Lavender Farms; screen printing “9 Lives” t-shirts with DIY’s Print Club; open gallery featuring art of members and volunteers; and a rock show featuring Purling Hiss, Starcleaner Reunion, Jug & the Bugs, and Heathmonger. Tickets for the show and more information can be found at flemingtondiy.org/9-lives.

Last year, the brewery debuted its “DIY-PA” to celebrate Flemington DIY’s re-opening. Flemington DIY and Lone Eagle Brewing are both located along Stangl Road in Flemington’s Arts & Cultural District.
