THE ARTISTS

Vidushi Mathur

Vidushi Mathur is a New Jersey–based mandala artist originally from India. Her work is inspired by mindfulness, cultural heritage, and the powerful way creativity can influence our emotions. Drawing from Indian art, geometry, nature, and the intricate patterns she notices in everyday life, Vidushi creates detailed pieces that invite viewers to pause, reflect, and feel a sense of calm.

Vidushi specializes in dot mandalas, carefully placing thousands of individual dots to form precise, flowing patterns. Each piece grows from her emotions and personal experiences, allowing her artwork to be both visually engaging and deeply meaningful. Through patterns that represent growth, connection, strength, and inner peace, she hopes to create a relaxing and balanced experience for the viewer.

As a self-taught artist, Vidushi enjoys learning new techniques and discovering her own creative process. She believes art can bring people from different cultures and backgrounds together while offering a meaningful form of self-expression. Her work has been featured in art exhibitions, where she enjoys sharing the beauty and calming qualities of mandala art.

Through her artwork, Vidushi hopes to inspire mindfulness, happiness, and a greater appreciation for the connections we share. She wants viewers to feel peaceful, uplifted, and more connected to the world around them.

Sharmilee Raje

Inspired by the beauty and rhythm of the natural world, Sharmilee Raje has spent nearly a decade expressing her creativity through painting and crochet. Working primarily with acrylics, she creates artwork that reflects the changing colors, organic patterns, and quiet beauty found in nature. She also enjoys experimenting with new materials and techniques, allowing her artistic style to continue growing and evolving.

In addition to painting, Sharmilee creates intricate crochet pieces, including decorative mandalas, home décor, and stylish accessories. Her crochet work brings warmth, texture, and handcrafted character into everyday spaces. Whether she is working with paint or fiber, each piece is created with patience, attention to detail, and a deep appreciation for the world around her.

Through her artwork, Sharmilee hopes to capture the calming and uplifting qualities of nature. Her goal is to create pieces that not only add beauty to a space but also encourage viewers to pause, reflect, and feel more connected to the natural world around you.

Maureen Grotz

My family is at the heart of everything I create and the greatest source of joy in my life. Through acrylic pouring, I use flowing color, movement, and unexpected patterns to reflect the beauty found in both ordinary and unpredictable moments.

I dedicate this body of work especially to my father, a humble and gentle man who taught me to appreciate life’s smallest joys. From him, I learned to laugh at myself, keep smiling through challenges, and find beauty in simplicity. His warmth, gratitude, and quiet wisdom continue to guide my work.

Now, my daughter helps me carry those lessons forward. Her curiosity, resilience, and boundless creativity encourage me to see the world with fresh eyes and remain open to possibility.

Each painting brings together my father’s appreciation for simple joys and my daughter’s sense of wonder. A celebration of family, resilience, and beauty that can emerge when we embrace the unexpected.
