International Female Ride Day 2023

Two Wheel Scavenger Hunt! – Saturday, May 6, starting at 10am

In celebration of International Female Ride Day, join us on Saturday May 6th for a Two Wheel Scavenger Hunt through Hunterdon County and neighboring towns. Let’s make the bicycling and motorcycling worlds more inclusive for all people and enjoy a day for all riders!

Motorcyclists and bicyclists can register and check in at Flemington DIY between 10 am and 12 noon to receive a Scavenger Hunt Card. Scavenger Hunt Cards will share locations for the ride and you will navigate on your bike or motorcycle to the locations of your choosing. Please bring a GPS to help you. When you arrive at the location, enjoy the scenery and stamp your card. Visit as many or as few locations as you like. There are low and high mileage options to accommodate you. You can visit multiple locations within Flemington or travel across the county for a more extended ride.

Return to Flemington DIY by 4pm for fun, prizes and social time. Each card with at least 3 stamps will be entered in to receive prizes, like hoodies from Factory Fuel or swag from Party Size Cycling. Bring your card to Factory Fuel on Saturday May 6th, and get 25% off all your purchases!

Register online now to reserve your spot. It costs $10 per card to play with all proceeds supporting our beloved Flemington DIY.

Two organized bicycle rides will be available that will go past several of the sites for the Scavenger Hunt: a short 7-mile route, and a longer 28-mile route on the beautiful Hunterdon Plateau. These will be no-drop rides, which means no one will be left behind and the ride will go at a leisurely + social pace. Riders should bring something to drink and a snack. Helmets are required. There is no mechanical or medical support, so please choose a ride length that you have completed recently and feel comfortable doing. These are great opportunities for people new to group rides who want to try it out.
