Keeping Our Community Safe: First on the Scene (FOTS) First Aid Response Training Course

About the Course First on the Scene is a hands-on emergency training course that teaches people what to do in a life-threatening situation while waiting for EMS to show up. It’s a mix of quick lessons and skill stations covering things like:

  • How to call 911 and what to say

  • Hands-only CPR and AED use

  • Administering naloxone and epinephrine

  • Stopping life-threatening bleeding and handling penetrating chest trauma

  • Safely moving and positioning someone who’s injured

Registration & Cost Registration is $40 per person.

We encourage as many people to participate in this valuable workshop as possible. If cost is a setback, then please indicate that in the question below to be considered for reimbursement.

General Information about Keeping Our Community Safe: Monthly Information & Action Meeting

Third Wednesdays | 7–9PM | Flemington DIY

A monthly gathering of local residents committed to protecting and supporting our immigrant community members.

Together, we will:

  • Share accurate, up-to-date Know Your Rights information related to ICE presence and immigration enforcement

  • Review protocols for spotting, documenting, and responding to ICE activity

  • Coordinate community-based mutual aid efforts

  • Create and distribute educational materials for neighbors and local businesses

  • Strengthen communication networks that prioritize safety, dignity, and collective care

This is a space for informed conversation, practical preparedness, coordinated action, sharing resources, and strengthening local support networks. All community members who value safety, solidarity, and constitutional rights are welcome.
