Take Me Home is a small works show featuring pieces under 10×10 inches that are fun to create and even more exciting to buy! With a ONE NIGHT ONLY Opening Fundraiser Event on Friday, December 1, art lovers can snag anonymously hung works of art for KILLER deals. Join us for a fun evening supporting artists and the amazing, all volunteer-run nonprofit that is Flemington DIY .
The show will remain hanging for the remainder of December with the opportunity to buy, but after the opening night, all prices will be available for purchase at prices set by the artist and their names will be revealed. How much higher will the price go??? How will the price change after the opening???
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
Opening Night Fundraiser: Friday, December 1, 2023: 5:30-8:30pm.
Location: Flemington DIY, 26 Stangl Rd, Flemington NJ 08822
REQUIREMENTS:
1. ALL work must be available for purchase. Artists will receive 60% of purchase price. FlemingtonDIY will retain 40% to further its mission of providing an inclusive art space that engages the community with the burgeoning local arts scene, inspires social change, and invigorates the local economy.
2. Artwork must adhere strictly to the outer dimensions of 10 x 10 inches or less (please be aware that outer dimensions include the width of frame, if framed)
3. Artists must pre-register all work online by November 15th. REGISTRATION LINK NOW CLOSED.
4. When you pre-register, please be prepared to provide all artwork details for anything you are considering providing. This does not commit you to including all that are pre-registered, it just helps us prepare.
5. Artworks must be dropped-off or delivered at any of the following two times:
Saturday, 11/25 from 12-2pm
Monday 11/27 from 6-8pm
Be sure to label your work prior to dropping off!
6. Participating artists may enter a maximum of 3 works.
7. Artwork must be delivered ready to hang (i.e. paper works must be framed or mounted and ALL WORKS must be WIRED)
8. Artwork will hang until Dec. 24. Artists must pick up their work on or before Dec. 30! Times for pick up:
Thursday 12/21 from 2-6pm
Thursday 12/28 from 2-6pm
Saturday 12/30 from 10-12noon

DIMENSIONS
All Works must be 10 x 10 inches or less! Be sure to label your work prior to dropping off!
This year, 2023, we have THREE Opening Night Purchase Prices: $50, $150, $300
✔️must be larger than 3×3 in
✔️artworks do not need to be square: 4×6, 5×6 or 6×6 are all good
✔️outer dimensions not larger than 10 x 10 (including frame, if adding a frame)
✔️the artist decides their selling price category for opening night and any price changes for after Dec.1.
COMMISSION
Artists receive 60% (of all purchases)
Flemington DIY receives 40% (for each work sold)

“Take Me Home Tonight!,” a group show featuring emerging and established artists will open on Friday, December 1 from 5:30PM-8:30PM at Flemington DIY.
“Take Me Home Tonight!” is a small works show with two predetermined dimensions that are fun to create and even more exciting to buy! With a one-night only opening fundraiser event on Friday December 1st, art lovers can snag works at set prices while supporting artists and the 100% volunteer-run nonprofit, Flemington DIY.
The show is inspired by EZ2Steal, created by Katie Albert and Graham Preston. “When DIY asked us for our blessing to put on a similar show, we thought it was a wonderful opportunity to support artists and creatives,” say Preston. “Creatives are the core that community, culture and commerce spins around. Nurturing community begins with makers, dreamers, and thinkers.”
The show will remain hanging until December 22nd with the opportunity to buy, but after the opening night, all pieces will be available for purchase at prices set by the artists. How much higher will the price go? How will the price change after the opening?
“There was a lot of excitement to see what more established artists were going to present at EZ2Steal. As a weekend warrior kind of painter, it was fun to be in a show with folks whose work you really admire and feel all the energy from a large group of artists,” says Flemington DIY volunteer and board member Nicole Maniez.
Flemington DIY hosts monthly art shows and arts programming in our beautiful new space on Stangl Rd in Flemington NJ. “We continue to elevate our programming, “ says Executive Director Jeff Hersch, “and are looking forward to seeing a lot of participation from artists across the region in this show with a twist.”
The opening night on Friday, December 1st will feel like a party with music, food and mingling. Come enjoy the fun community vibes, buy some art for yourself or as unique gifts and join in the merriment!
