A member of the gun violence prevention team formed after Sandy Hook, she gathered best practices from experts across sectors. Her book covers key issues—background checks, AR-style weapons, ghost guns, video games, Supreme Court rulings, and the impact of guns on domestic violence and mental health. Her goal is to foster fact-based, solution-focused conversations on one of today’s most divisive issues. The book offers dozens of potential solutions and challenges readers to consider: What is your role in reducing gun violence?   The evening will include listening, discussion and Q & A with the author.
