The new year approaches and you can’t help but dread it. All the things you didn’t get done this year creeping into your resolutions for the next. And you know productivity is not the key to happiness.

But here’s what you do know: that walk home from the NYE party, the first coffee on January 1st, going back to school after winter break. The awkward, transient, cold, blue space after the holidays while adjusting to life in the new year- such an arbitrary but everpresent goo to sludge through. We need something to look forward to. And who loves an escapist, fantastic, endeavor more than writers? Who better to embrace that liminality?
