DESCRIPTION:Click here to Register! \nAbout the Course First on the Scene is a hands-on emergency training course that teaches people what to do in a life-threatening situation while waiting for EMS to show up. It’s a mix of quick lessons and skill stations covering things like: \n\n\nHow to call 911 and what to say \n\n\nHands-only CPR and AED use \n\n\nAdministering naloxone and epinephrine \n\n\nStopping life-threatening bleeding and handling penetrating chest trauma \n\n\nSafely moving and positioning someone who’s injured \n\n\nRegistration & Cost Registration is $40 per person.  \nWe encourage as many people to participate in this valuable workshop as possible. If cost is a setback\, then please indicate that in the question below to be considered for reimbursement. \nClick here to Register! \n \n \nGeneral Information about Keeping Our Community Safe: Monthly Information & Action Meeting \nThird Wednesdays | 7–9PM | Flemington DIY \nA monthly gathering of local residents committed to protecting and supporting our immigrant community members. \nTogether\, we will: \n\n\nShare accurate\, up-to-date Know Your Rights information related to ICE presence and immigration enforcement \n\n\nReview protocols for spotting\, documenting\, and responding to ICE activity \n\n\nCoordinate community-based mutual aid efforts \n\n\nCreate and distribute educational materials for neighbors and local businesses \n\n\nStrengthen communication networks that prioritize safety\, dignity\, and collective care \n\n\nThis is a space for informed conversation\, practical preparedness\, coordinated action\, sharing resources\, and strengthening local support networks.
