SUMMARY:Set in Stone - Printer in Residence Art Show
DESCRIPTION:Set in Stone\, Mariah McLaughlin’s culmination of a yearlong Printer-in-Residence\, brings together a body of work that combines ceramics and screenprinting to expand the limits of traditional printmaking. By moving printed imagery onto clay and treating ceramic surfaces as sites for layering\, repetition\, and variation\, the work expands screenprinting beyond a t-shirt or paper. SUMMARY:Monthly Food Drive
DESCRIPTION:Did you know that Flemington has seven Little Food Pantries (LFPs)? LFPs are small food pantries that allow community members in need to have open access to food\, water\, and hygiene items. These pantries depend on the support of donations from people like you! Come together with your community for a monthly food drive to stock four of the pantries. How does it work?Volunteers come together at the drive to sort donations that are dropped off from 6-7:15PM. Donations are counted and then sorted into bins for distribution to the pantries. Volunteers take each bin to the pantries to restock them. Any leftover items are distributed to the pantries later in the month.  \nPantries are located at:  \n\nFlemington Area Food Pantry LFP\, 154 Rt 31\nSalvation Army LFP\, Corner of Hopewell Ave & East Main Street\nCommunity LFP\, 10 New Jersey Avenue\nHunterdon County Community Wellness Center LFP\, 44 Emery Ave\nFlemington DIY LFP\, 26 Stangl Road\nFlemington Presbyterian Church LFP\, 10 East Main Street\nEchelon Studio Self-Care Pantry\, 27 Fulper Road\n\nRecommended donations: \n\nWater bottles\n\nShelf-stable milk and juice\n\n \nPackaged or canned tuna and chicken\nDry goods like box mixes\, rice\, oatmeal\, etc.\nGranola and protein bars (without chocolate)\nCoffee and tea\nCrackers\nRamen and pot noodles\nInstant soup packets\nAny personal hygiene products \nMenstrual hygiene products (preference for pads)\nIndividual drink mix packets\nCanned goods and can openers\nPeanut butter and jelly\nSmall cold weather items (hand warmers\, socks\, gloves\, mittens\, scarves\, hats)\nBandaids and neosporin\nPlease no expired items\, open packages\, or frozen/refrigerated items. \nWant to get involved?
