DESCRIPTION:http://njstorytellingfestival.com/ \nJoin us as storytellers from throughout New Jersey and the Tri-State area convene for  at the Flemington Arts & Cultural district  to regale visitors with a whole new crop of stories – and more than 50 storytellers at five locations on Stangl Road. Stories of all types from The Moth-type ‘real stories from real people’ to family legacy stories to children’s stories.  \nLegacy Storytelling Workshop \nEvery family has stories worth sharing. Discover the family stories you always knew were there. The stories of your family are vital treasures and gifts that only you and your family can give to your ancestors for generations to come!. Please join us for an exciting and interactive Legacy Storytelling Workshop to help “build” your family legacy stories. \n The Story Slam \nThe Story Slam takes place from noon to 1 PM to begin the fun.  Contestants are chosen at random to recount a 5 minute-or-less personal tale. The theme is HOME TOWN.  \nThe Lightning Round \nA continuous rotation of tellers will perform throughout the farm from 1 to 5 PM\, followed by the festival’s signature close\, the Lightning Round\, from 4 to 5 PM.  All are encouraged to participate!
