DESCRIPTION:Flip Da Script: A Community Arts Showcase in Support of Seeking Justice for Joshua\n•Poets+Musicians+Speakers\n•Presented by Plague Productions in conjunction with Flemington DIY\n$20 Suggested Donation\nJoshua McMillian was just 31 years old when he died in Northern State Prison on January 2nd\, 2020. The “official” incident report made to his mother\, April Johnson\, was that her son committed suicide — a statement she strongly refutes. April has spent the last three years trying to retrieve her son’s personal belongings\, and she has requested same day activity logs from the prison\, all to no avail. At this point\, she feels her only option is to pursue justice through the legal system. Flip Da Script is supporting her in this pursuit by helping April raise the necessary funds\, and not just for Joshua. Many others have been murdered behind bars\, and Flip Da Script is standing up for all those who have been grievously harmed by the corrections system. We hope you stand alongside us.
